ColourPop She Palette: Review & Swatches

So it dawned on me that after nearly 3 years of using various ColourPop products I haven’t written a review on anything!!!

For those of you who don’t know what ColourPop is, they are an Indie beauty brand that is becoming more popular thanks to social media…plus their products are cheap!! They began with Super Shock Shadows and Lip Sticks, but continue to expand their collection with new releases monthly!!!

She Palette ($16):  I bought this palette because their pressed shadows blew me away!! I honesty can’t get over how beautiful the formal is and are like $5 but go on sale all the time…so following their socials and signing up for emails would be useful!!

There are 12 shadows in this palette (8 shimmers – 4 mattes) and are smaller than their single pan counterparts. I find that the formula is just as great though! The shadows have nice pigmentation. wear well without primer, are blendable, and last throughout the day with no signs of creasing or fading.

The only shade that I could live without is the top middle swatch. For some reason this is just really chunky glitter that gets everywhere. It looks really pretty swatched, but once you try to apply it turns into a crumbly mess.

When it comes to personal preference I wish they had added a few more light/mid-toned matte shades. The shadows are all beautiful, but it is hard to get a full look given the range selection. It just gets a bit annoying having a full palette but needing to reach for other shadows in order to make an eye look. I know that some people complain about having too many neutral shades in palettes…just think this is something to keep in mind when purchasing!!

Yeah, if you are looking for a great warm palette with some nice shimmers and mattes then give this little firecracker a try!!! Dont worry they restock this palette all the time!!!
