Too Faced and I Heart Makeup Chocolate Bronzers: Review & Swatches!!

Like most people, I love chocolate and also enjoy bronzing up my deathly, pale face but spending $30 on the combination can be a bit disheartening. So when I stumbled across I Heart Makeup Chocolate Bronzers it seemed only logical to test them out.

I am just gonna burst your piñata now and let you know the budget friendly bronzers don’t smell like chocolate…not even a little!

Left to Right: I Heart Makeup in Desire and Heaven. Too Faced Chocolate and Milk Chocolate Soleil.

Review

Now what these bronzers lack in smell they make up for in performance! The Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil is nice although it has a tendency to go orange on my face and their Chocolate Soleil might be for medium complexion, but actually looks better on me. I would say that the I Heart Makeup bronzers are the closest to this shade but a tad on the cooler side.

The bronzers are lighter in pigmentation, which means they won’t work for everyone but they do perform well! They give an incredible natural, warmth to face and look amazing overtime I put them on. Both are creamy, smooth, and blend perfectly!! Heaven is all matte and Desire does have a faint amount of golden micro glitter but they barely show up once applied.

Final Thoughts

If you are pale, want to save some money, need a natural bronzer, and don’t mind the odd smell, well by golly my dear you have found a winner!!

If you like the Too Faced bronzers and prefer the finer things in life, then keep on being fabulous my little chocolate, sun-kissed goddess!!
