Found this gem at Ulta for $13 because nothing sets the tone like jewel tones!!

Swatches!!

Review

Honestly, I didn’t like this palette the first time swatching. It was lack luster, dry and seemed patchy. I love jewel tones in every aspect of my life and was so excited to find a drugstore palette on the market. This palette is beautiful but feel it is more of a vivid purple/blue palette versus a jewel tone one and the colors did fade throughout the day by about 10-15%. The white is frosty, the pink is very light but still works well for transition/blending purposes, the pewter, purple, and blue shades are lovely, the green was dry and needs a tacky base, gold is a pretty but toned down once applied, and the black is rather bold!

Final Thoughts

I really do like the palette and that purple is beautiful so will be reaching for this one a lot. Can you create some gorgeous looks with this? Of course, you will just need a nice primer and flat brush to help! Did this fulfill my jewel tone desires? Not 100%.
