I know what you are thinking, ‘Michaela this is a sold out limited edition palette, why are you just now doing a review?!’

You see my friends, I have a lovely alternative to this palette! It’s not a 100% dupe, but it’s a close one and cost $5 versus $45.

Let’s get down to business!

The Master Class Palette Top Row: Hollywood, NYC, Kim, Muse, Marina, and Claudia.

The Master Class Palette Bottom Row: Lula*, Isabel*, Violeta*, 5th Ave, Bronx, and Paris.  *Indicates Matte Shadows.

Comfort Zone by WetnWild: Brow Bone, Eyelid, Crease, Definer, Brow Bone, Eyelid, Crease, and Definer. (Sorry, they don’t have actual names!)

Random Side by Side Swatches.

Final Thoughts

I really love both palettes and as soon as I got Master Class in my hands knew it reminded me of something. Are these 100% the same? Of course not!! Can you use the Comfort Zone Palette to create some similar looks? Absolutely, especially when you pull in warm mattes since this palette is lacking in that department.

I am on the fair side, so with both of these palettes I have to bring in lighter shadows to help with highlighting or even to brighten the overall look. It’s not a deal breaker for me since both palettes are really great quality and perform beautifully. I will say that the bottom left Definer and right Crease shades in Comfort Zone are a bit drier than the other 6 shadows, but they still work well with adding some drama to the eyes.
